William and his team have taken good care of my two used vehicles for more than 14 years for general maintenance, undercarriage issues, and New York State inspections. I always have a peace of mind that William will always be honest about what is essential and what is not. William understands that these cars hold much sentimental value and most households need to spread out expenses, thus he often prioritized repairs that will tie the vehicle over for a quarter (or two) before needing another repair (such as the nature of aging vehicles and the reality of living in harsh winter conditions). I was also impressed by the use of used car parts when I had to repair the side window. This lowered the cost considerably. His team also addressed a tire issue that wasn't quite addressed when the car was fixed at a different mechanic. I highly recommend Varna Auto because it checks all the boxes of being a friendly, reliable, honest, and skilled team of mechanics who will help you take care of your vehicle.

I really like Varna Auto. Every time I have to go they are so nice and professional. I find them to be honest and reliable. I’ve started to have my kids go there for their maintenance needs and auto repairs. I took my car in yesterday just for a diagnostic because it had a peculiar noise, like a bearing! They wouldn't look at it unless I left it overnight! Today, when I went back to see what the diagnostic showed, they told me they fixed it! The repair was supposed to cost 150, and the diagnostic was only 70. I took my car for a drive to see if they had fixed it, and the same noise was still there. I went back to tell them the noise was still there, and the mechanic just got angry and yelled as if I didn't know what I was talking about! I told him my car has only had one noise. If you want, come with me and get in my car so you can hear it, and all he did was yell. I asked him to give me my money back for what they supposedly fixed! Because they didn't fix anything, and in the end I left and had to pay $75 for the inspection, and I never found out what the problem with my car was that I went there for. They are very rude people and don't do their job; they invent problems that didn't exist and expect you to pay them. So In the end, I lost $75 at that pointless place.

I brought my vehicle (Mazda CX-5) to Varna Auto because the brake warning light was on and I was unable to disengage the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB). After diagnosing the car, they told me both rear EPB actuators and calipers needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $1,124. They later called and said the car was fully fixed and ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, the brake warning light was still on and the EPB was still not functioning properly. I immediately informed them. The next day, they re-examined the vehicle and told me the parking brake control module had lost communication and that they could not fix the issue. They referred me to a Mazda dealership for further repairs. In other words, after charging me over $1,100, the original problem remained unresolved. When the vehicle was returned to me, the brake fluid reservoir cap was missing. The reservoir had been temporarily covered with plastic, and I had to return the following day to obtain a replacement cap.
